The buttons got my eye
It
is well known that thrift shops have sometimes real treasures but we
don't always
have the time or the patience to find them.
This coat for example simply
got my eye, I loved
the quality, the full
lining and heavy
texture, the tweed design
and pattern but also details
like the leather
trim or the
original bakelite
buttons. Perfect
for a walk in this snowy days, here combined with a white knitted
long vest, a bright orange turtleneck and other garments
in warm colors.
Las
tiendas de segunda mano aveces alojan auténticos tesoros, pero no
siempre tenemos el tiempo o la paciencia para buscarlos. Por eso
cuando me encontré este abrigo, simplemente no pude resistirme. No
solo porque estaba en perfectas condiciones, con esa calidad tan
característica de la ropa de antes.
Me
encantó el diseño y los colores del tweed, el forro completo y
hasta pequeños detalles como los bordes de piel y los botones de
baquelita originales. Pesado y calentito, perfecto para estos días
de nieve. Aquí lo he combinado con un maxi chaleco tejido color
crema y otras prendas en colores cálidos que se nos olvidan a veces
usar en invierno.
